Wherever possible Border Express seeks to leverage off the relationship with its key suppliers for the benefit of staff.

Border Express has a strong relationship with Telstra and is pleased to have available for staff using the Telstra network a special plan offering additional discount.

Plan Features

Essentially the same Plans as Telstra’s non-corporate Plans:

  • Same call rates
  • Same choice of a:
    • Casual Member Plan,
    • Contract Member Plan (offers bonus credits), or
    • Contact Phone Plan (offers subsidised handsets)
  • Same bonus options

Added benefits for Border Express staff are:

  • 10% discount on call rates, SMS and Message Bank retrieval (excludes international roaming, Sensis and plan costs)
  • a $10 plan option is available

What is Different:

  • Not eligible for rewards options, eg reward for combining mobile and land line onto a single bill
  • Capped plans are not eligible for extra benefits

Free 24/7

Choose a Telstra mobile or any eligible fixed number and voice calls to that number within Australia are free for the first 3 minutes, 24/7, with no call connection fee ($3 set up fee applies)3.

Free Text

Send 200 free standard text messages to any Telstra mobile in Australia (8pm-7am) and 15c per text message at other times or to other mobiles on any Australian network4.

Free 50 Text

Send 50 free standard text messages to mobiles on any Australian network or 50 free Talking Text messages to an eligible Telstra home phone each month4.

My Hour

Nominate one hour of the day or night to receive the first 20 minutes free of each voice and video call made to eligible fixed or mobile numbers within Australia3.

Per Second Saver

Only pay for the time that you use - voice call rates to eligible numbers within Australia are charged per second instead of in 30 second blocks3. A 27c call connection fee applies.

How To Sign Up

1. Confirm you are eligible

To confirm eligibility, you must have one of the following:
  • Employment Contract (click here to generate one)
  • Current Pay Slip (evidence of employment must be visible)
  • Letter, on official letterhead from Border Express, which confirms employment

2. Select your desired plan

3. Select your desired phone handset (if applicable)

4. Call the service centre

Ring 1800 231 462 and say you are from Border Express Pty Ltd

 

Terms And Conditions

  • Customers must be full/part time employees of an eligible Telstra Mobile customer.
  • The discount only applies to the new Consumer Mobile Plans
  • Contract term of discount is 24 months.
  • 10% Discount does not apply to monthly access fees, international roaming charges, calls to Sensis and third party charges.
  • If the customer leaves their place of employment, they are still bound by the terms and conditions of the offer. They will also continue to receive the discount for the remainder of the 24 month contract term.
  • There is a limit of two services per customer. If more than two services are on an account receiving the Corporate Staff Mobile Plan discount, none of the services will receive the discount.
  • Existing customers of a new consumer mobile plan, who are eligible employees, can connect to this offer - they do not have to connect a new service to be eligible.
